At Ironworks, we do a lot of work with Autonomy Interwoven’s suite of web content management and delivery tools. It's a solid platform, but like any system, configuration and customization can introduce some interesting behavior. Every time I start thinking that we’ve seen every possible unintended behavior that can occur within the toolset, we find something else. Currently, my favorite issue is the F5 denial of service.
When gathering requirements for a WCMS implementation, it seems to typically be the case that users want a system designed to handle workflows with a handful of files attached. However, they want to avoid placing a limit on the files that can be attached. After all, there may come a day when you really do need to submit 576 files at the same time. Here’s where that turns into a problem.
